How it all began

A history of Jaguar Building Services Ltd.

Paul Roberts established Jaguar as he saw a gap in the market for bespoke M&E maintenance services. With the help of several engineers who are still a part of the business to this day, he put a proposal together to provide M&E services for the Daily Express newspaper and the rest is history…

Getting the right team for you

We have a robust technical interview that identifies the strengths and weaknesses of each candidate we employ to maintain your building. We issue knowledge guides to our staff identifying precisely what we expect them to know about the systems in their charge, as well as building-specific information, such as points of isolation and system set-points.
We value our people and provide them with a comprehensive support structure made up of both internal and external resources. We are proud to promote a positive attitude towards mental health in our workplace. A number of our staff are trained and certified by Mental Health First Aid England to empower our employees and workforce to care for themselves and others.

Training and Benefits at Jaguar

At Jaguar, our people make us who we are, that’s why we invest heavily in them. In 2023, over 2,300 courses were completed through Safety Media, our training system. We also deliver an extensive range of training courses at our Head Office in Gracechurch Street.
Our employees are offered private medical healthcare, professional help with their finances, death in service benefits, season ticket loans, Rewards Gateway and more. We send out monthly emails promoting all of our benefits to ensure they are not forgotten, and also have them collectively stored in an app for ease of accessibility.

Supporting Our Community

Making a difference where we can

We work closely with our partner charity, Ivy Street who supports vulnerable families in the community of Hoxton. They provide baby clothes and equipment to people in need, and the centre also provides a relaxing space for children and their carers, welcoming parents, childminders, grandparents and anyone else looking after under-fives.
Jaguar also support several other charities including the Trussell Trust and, help out local football and running clubs. We are long term sponsors of the Danson Runners and have recently become sponsors of the Abbey Youth Jaguars and Welling Town Girls.

Air Conditioning Supervisor

“I started with Jaguar in 2019 as an Air Conditioning Engineer. Over the past 5 years, I have worked at over 50 Jaguar sites and have been promoted to Air Conditioning Supervisor. It is always a pleasure going around the different sites and I have learnt so much in this time; not many companies I have worked at encourage further learning the way Jaguar does.”
