International Women’s Day

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day!

At Jaguar, we want to recognise and honour the incredible women who drive us forward and make our workplace the best it can be. Please join us in celebrating the remarkable women in the building services industry and recognise their invaluable contributions.

We had a chat with Francesca Jordan, Assistant Bid Manager, about her experience in the building services industry.

“I joined Jaguar right after graduating in November 2020. Initially, I worked at one of our sites as a Contract Support before moving to the finance department at Head Office. Now, I’ve been an Assistant Bid Manager for almost a year, and I find it to be both challenging and rewarding.

For young women aspiring to have a career in building services, my advice is to try different things and ask questions, as this can spark interests you may not have otherwise discovered. If you’re on site in a non-technical role, get familiar with the plant rooms and equipment.

I’ve worked closely with Rhona Smith, Associate Director of Business Development, who’s a strong role model for me in the company. Rhona has been instrumental in my learning journey, offering valuable support and guidance while allowing me independence to navigate challenges.“
