Lloyd’s CRE Team Volunteer at Bow Foodbank

On Friday 18th October some of the Lloyd’s CRE team joined in with our Operations Director, Steve Jackaman, to lend a helping hand at Bow Foodbank, one of our valued charity partners.

The team worked together to help prepare food parcels, and they assisted with a stock take. The organisation recently moved location, so our decorating skills were also put to the test as the team prepped some areas for an overhaul.

Bow Foodbank advised that within the week of the 18th of October, they had helped 1,184 adults and 545 children with emergency food support. They distributed 411 adult food parcels with an additional 243 kids parcels for families with children. Each guest received a core food bag, as well as additional food, cleaning and hygiene and baby items.
