Meet Liam Cox, Thames Court’s New Apprentice

Welcome to all our new Jaguar Apprentices!

In September, we welcomed 9 new Apprentices to begin their Electrical Maintenance Engineering course.

Over the next 4 years, our Apprentices will learn from different placements across our sites, rotating every 6 months to gain hands-on experience in diverse plant rooms. They will be learning how to operate various systems and equipment, while also attending college weekly to earn their Level 2 & 3 qualifications.

Liam Cox, Apprentice has come into his new role straight from school and is currently based at Thames Court. Liam is working alongside Alan Hopkins, Mechanical Technical Advisor, who has worked at Thames Court for over 52 years!

Our Apprentices benefit from the mentorship of highly experienced engineers like Alan, who pass down their knowledge and expertise. Alan’s extensive career is an example of the long and successful path ahead for our Apprentices in the field of engineering.

We wish all our Apprentices the best of luck in their new roles, and we look forward to following their journey over the next 4 years.
