Summary: JBS Technical were recently called out to Mid City Place due to a power outage to a rising busbar. The team found the 400A MCCB supplying the riser had severe heat damage. Complex LV isolation was required, safety documentation was produced and the switchboard safely isolated. Upon closer inspection and removal of warped plastic, they found the neutral link incorrectly installed and loose, causing extreme heat. The MCCB was replaced with site critical spares and supplies and was reinstated the same evening.
